The Pomegranate clothing range was officially launched in 2003, and is sold by approximately 150 retailers throughout Australia and New Zealand. Hamish (that's me J) has been in the business importing and wholesaling Indian produced cotton homewares since 1997. In 2005, I incorporated cotton caftans into my range of Indian cotton homewares and gifts. They were an instantaneous hit and proved to be so popular, that I stopped importing the homewares to concentrate on clothing. Since that time Pomegranate has become famous for bright prints, bold colours, and extremely high quality garments at fantastic prices.
Effortlessly chic fashion that make you feel like it`s the weekend... fun, flirty and flattering. I create beautiful pieces that look fabulous on, feel fabulous to the touch, and are easy to wear, to look after, and to afford! Pomegranate is all about versatile pieces that you can easily glam up with sandals and accessories to take you straight from the beach to the bar in style.
There are 3 main product categories of the Hamish Barker collections - cool cottons, sexy silks, and versatile viscose. I like to ensure my ranges contain both wardrobes stables and 'statement' pieces - shells, sequins and jewels being my fav way to make a garment that little bit special.
The product range also includes beautiful scarves, fun bags, costume jewellery and other accessories that compliment the Pomegranate range of clothing.
